 Stars
of Hope was created especially for Tarrant Area Food Bank's
2006 Empty Bowls event by A Few Loose Threads Quilting
Bee of Northeast Tarrant County with quilter JaLonn Carter-Stanley
of Trophy Club. Materials for the 84-inch square quilt were donated
by the Fort Worth quilting supply shop Cabbage Rose owned by
Karen
O'Neil. The rainbow-colored five-pointed stars and double-edged
box outline were cut from batik fabric.
The
winning raffle ticket will be drawn at Empty Bowls Feb.
24, 2006 at Bass Performance Hall. You do NOT
have to be present at the raffle drawing to win.
All proceeds will benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Raffle
tickets are $5 each or $20 for five and will
be mailed to you if ordered by 3 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2006. Otherwise,
raffle tickets will be held for you to pick up at Empty Bowls.
If you do not plan to attend Empty Bowls, you can have your quilt
raffle tickets placed in the drawing by mailing the filled-out
ticket stubs to:
