Join Tarrant Area Food Bank and Feeding America in raising awareness of local hunger and food insecurity during the nationwide observance of Hunger Action Month.

How can you help?  It's easy. We're asking you to Speak Out Against Hunger. You can speak out with the activities suggested on our 30 Ways to Fight Hunger in 30 Days calendar.

Click on the thumbnail below to see and print Tarrant Area Food Bank's Hunger Action Month Calendar of suggestions for activities to help you and your family, friends and co-workers speak out against hunger.

Why speak out?  Because the nearly 49 million people in America—including 4.6 million Texas residents—who struggle with hunger often do so in silence.  They live in our communities; they are our neighbors, our co-workers and our friends.  Yet their struggles can go unheard.  By simply lending your voice, you can make a tangible contribution to mobilizing the public in the fight to end hunger.

In Tarrant Area Food Bank's 13-county service region, you can lend your voice on behalf of the 1 of 4 children living in households that do not always have the resources to obtain enough nutritious food to support healthy, active minds and bodies.
