FOOD BANK ADVOCACY AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Tarrant Area Food Bank advocates for people struggling with hunger through its community outreach services and through involvement with elected officials.

We work with the Texas Food Bank Network to inform our local elected officials of:

  • Tarrant Area Food Bank services to their constituents, and
  • The importance of state and federal legislation dealing with nutrition assistance and with other programs that alleviate hunger and poverty
