Empty Bowls—An Artful Taste to End Hunger, attracts 2,000 guests and volunteers who select keepsakes from among 2,500 handcrafted bowls by North Texas artisans.  Guests can also, among other activities:

• Bid in a live auction for Celebrity Bowls, each signed by a famous chef or entertainer.
• Enter a raffle for a brand new Dragon-red Vespa 150 scooter with helmet. (See photo below.)
• Enter a raffle for (1) a Dallas Cowboys package with four (4) pre-season tickets for a home game in a deluxe suite on the 35 yard line, food, all beverages & a VIP parking pass,

OR, for (2) 30 days in a Fiat 500.

• Taste soups and desserts from 30-plus Fort worth area high-end and casual dining restaurants and caterers.
• Bid in a silent auction for items such as a Fantasia Mickey Mouse color etching with a Certificate of Authenticity, a basketball signed by all the Dallas Mavericks, a baseball signed by Baseball Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry and another by Texas Rangers Hall of Famer Rusty Greer, and
• Experience a SURPRISE, high-energy event celebrating food and song.

Raffle tickets will be sold during the 2013 event on March 28.  Online sale of raffle tickets is now closed.

Tickets are sold in advance ONLY and are $45 for a general admission ticket and $125 for a VIP ticket allowing you to enter the event a half hour early along with the Corporate Sponsors.

Bisque Bowl Painting

Each year volunteer painters, professional and amateur alike, begin painting bisque bowls for the next Empty Bowls event, even as the current one takes place.

Hart Street Pottery and Pepe Le Potter would like to invite you to join in the preparation by painting bisque bowls for the upcoming 2013 Empty Bowls event. A $4 donation per bowl is requested to help defray costs.
