ANNUAL EVENTS

Tarrant Area Food Bank hosts both annual fundraisers and annual appreciation events honoring our supporters.  We are also the beneficiary of a number of annual events hosted by community groups and grocery retailers.

Notable annual events include:

National Hunger Action Month (September)

Activities including free public tours of our warehouse, community outreach events and suggested activities for children and adults to fight local hunger.

Kick the Can (November)

Dallas/Fort Worth Souper Bowl of Giving Food Drive

(January through Super Bowl Sunday) – Kroger, Tom Thumb, Albertsons and other grocers with the help of major media outlets sponsor a public food drive in their stores as part of the national Souper Bowl of Giving.

Breakfast with the Stars (A Saturday in the Spring)

Volunteer Appreciation (April)

Reception honoring all Food Bank volunteers and recognizing outstanding volunteers with special awards.
