New Features
Empty Bowls 2012 offers exciting new features in recognition of the 10-Year Anniversary of this popular potpourri of artistic and culinary delights.
- Honorary Chairperson Barry Corbin, longtime film and TV actor, plans to attend Empty Bowls.
- One Commemorative Anniversary Artwork by David Gappa of Vetro Glassworks in Grapevine to be offered in a raffle.
- Celebrity Bowls: Designed by local artists, bowls and platters each signed by one of more than 10 celebrities will be offered in a live auction. The celebrities include, among others, musician Lyle Lovett, Fort Worth Symphony Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya, actors Barry Corbin and Janine Turner and sports figures including NASCAR legend Richard Petty and TCU Football Coach Gary Patterson.

- Samples tastings of savory soups and delectable desserts prepared by chefs at high-end to casual-dining restaurants and caterers in the Fort Worth area
- A keepsake to be selected by each guest from among 2,000-plus pottery, china, wood, glass or metal bowls handcrafted or hand-painted by North Texas professional, hobby and student artisans
- The Bump Table and The Gallery offering larger bowls for purchase
- The Silent Auction of artwork by professional artisans as well as entertainment packages and gift certificates for restaurants, golf, spa treatments and more
- A Quilt Raffle

- $45 per person or $125 per Individual Sponsor, which allows early admission along with corporate sponsors.

The Mayors' Council of Tarrant County invites you to help Tarrant Area Food Bank by purchasing a keepsake cookbook with recipes from elected officials, celebrity chefs and sports figures. Available now for $20.00, all proceeds go to Tarrant Area Food Bank to help feed children in need and keep their tummies full.
