VOLUNTEERING

Many people are introduced to Tarrant Area Food Bank through volunteering, either as an individual or as part of a group from their workplace, school, place of worship or as part of a civic, hobby, neighborhood, professional, social or youth club.

Employers are encouraged to bring groups of employees to volunteer for a team-building experience in our Quality Control area. Groups divide into teams to see who can produce the most cases of re-packed food during the two- to three-hour shift.
